- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a fabric cutter or in a similar position within the textile or garment industry
- Strong knowledge of fabric types and their handling properties (e.g., cotton, silk, polyester, wool).
- Ability to read and interpret patterns, blueprints, or work orders.
- Proficient in using cutting tools such as rotary cutters, fabric scissors, and industrial fabric cutting machines.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and cuts.
- Good hand-eye coordination and precision in cutting.
- Ability to mark fabric with appropriate guidelines for cutting and stitching.
