Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Opencart framework using PHP language and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality e-commerce solutions. This role involves collaborating with various departments to meet evolving business needs and ensuring the website's performance and user experience are consistently optimized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Code Development:

  • Write well-designed, efficient code using the Opencart framework using PHP language.

  • Apply best development practices from development to production stages.

  • E-commerce Experience:

  • Deliver exceptional e-commerce experiences.

  • Modify and troubleshoot source code within a complex codebase.

  • Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the online/marketing team, merchandising staff, and customer support center.

  • Rapidly develop and deliver web solutions that align with changing business requirements.

  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide ongoing maintenance for the website.

  • Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues promptly.

  • Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct regular test plans to ensure website quality and efficiency.

  • Continuously improve the user experience of the website.

  • API Integration:

  • Integrate third-party APIs to enhance subscriber base and web traffic metrics.

  • Utilize platforms such as Google and Facebook for web traffic analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with the Opencart framework using PHP language.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with API integration and web traffic metrics.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Final interview will be conducted onsite at our Ortigas office and will include a paid coding exam.
