Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven professional experience in Symfony application development (preferably versions 5/6).
  • Skilled in producing clean, organized, and performant PHP code that aligns with SOLID principles.
  • Adept at handling relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, including query optimization.
  • Experienced in connecting with external APIs and services (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
  • Committed to implementing top standards for security, efficiency, and code sustainability.
  • Effective collaborator who communicates well with project leads and clients.
  • Proficient in English (at least B2 level) for documentation and team interactions.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities and independent task management.

Primary Duties

  • Architect, build, and support web apps utilizing the Symfony framework.
  • Develop and merge new functionalities into current platforms.
  • Craft code that's reusable, testable, and optimized.
  • Establish and refine database schemas and queries.
  • Incorporate third-party integrations such as payment processors, ERP, and CRM systems.
  • Identify and fix technical bugs.
  • Uphold standards for app security, scalability, and speed.
  • Work alongside project managers, designers, QA testers, and marketing staff.
  • Engage in peer code reviews and knowledge exchange.
