Job Summary

We're seeking a LLM Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain production-grade AI workflows that drive customer engagement across channels. This role is hands-on and highly technical, with a focus on automation, integration, and reliability. You'll build powerful agents, wire up GTM tools, and ensure operational excellence across workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Build scheduled and event-driven agents that:
  • Segment accounts
  • Propose next-best actions
  • Execute via email, in-app messages, CS macros, or generative agents
  • Integrate with GTM systems like Intercom, Zendesk, HubSpot, , Braze, Segment, SendGrid, and Slack
  • Connect workflows to data warehouses for insights and performance tracking
  • Implement observability and guardrails:
  • Tracing, logging, retries, PII redaction
  • Safety checks, latency, and cost monitoring
  • Maintain context management systems (data ingestion, schema/taxonomy, freshness SLAs)
  • Create reusable playbooks and run A/B tests to improve retention, activation, and support deflection
  • Write clear documentation and empower CS, Marketing, and Support teams to self-serve automations

Requirements

  • 2–5 years experience in growth ops, platform ops, or backend engineering
  • Proven experience building production-ready automation workflows
  • Experience with LLM product engineering (tool/function calling, retrieval/RAG, vector DBs)
  • Proficient in:
  • Python
  • SQL
  • Familiarity with serverless/cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, Prefect, Temporal, Airflow)
  • Experience integrating third-party GTM tools
  • Strong documentation and cross-functional communication skills
  • Metrics-driven mindset with A/B testing experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience with LangSmith, Braintrust, or similar tracing/eval tools
  • Knowledge of Segment, Kafka, or Kinesis
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and MLOps best practices
  • Kubernetes experience (optional)
