The primary role of the Finance & Accounting Manager is to provide high-quality financial and management information and support to the General Manager in overseeing and managing the Company's finances. As the leader of the finance team, the Finance &U Accounting Manager ensures the development of a highly capable and motivated team responsible for maintaining accurate and reliable financial records, an effective system of financial control, and supporting the wider organization with day-to-day financial management issues.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience with a focus on general accounting, financial analysis, and government compliance
  • Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experienced gained in the retail or trading industry.
  • Obtained a college degree in any of the following fields: Accountancy, Finance, and other Business-Related courses
  • Proficiency in various ERP systems, accounting, and financial software, preferably Sage
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting purposes
  • Proven experience in handling various types of government audits
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for budgeting, forecasting and assessing financial risks
  • Ability to design, develop, and implement internal control and governance
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Possesses leadership skills to mentor and develop high-performing teams
  • Having a can-do attitude and willingness to extend working hours if necessary
