Job Specific:

  • Bachelor's Degree of Food Technology or any Business related course
  • At least 6 months to 1 year experience as QA in Food Distribution Industry
  • Familiar with Food Safety, GMP, HACCP and other quality assurance programs and processes
  • Has good written and oral communication skills
  • Must have good judgement and keen to detail
  • Computer Literate: Advance in MS Excel
  • Fast - learner, can work with less supervision and can handle multi-tasking
  • Approachable and reliable

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. PRODUCT INSPECTIONS

  • Verify the condition, labeling, and packaging of products
  • Ensure products meet temperature and hygiene requirements upon arrival and before dispatch
  • Record and report any non-conformities immediately for further action.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure that only approved products are moved in or out.
  • Records the van and product surface temperatures of all transactions and reports to QA Supervisor for any non-conformance found.

2. AUDITS AND DOCUMENTATION

  • Daily inspection of delivery vehicles to ensure compliance with sanitation protocol, safety standards for transporting food products, and company policies
  • Document findings and coordinate with direct head to discuss the findings
  • Verify sanitation documents like, chlorine, facility sanitation checklist, delivery sanitation checklist, or any equivalent documents related to quality assurance
  • Assists in internal and external audits to evaluate quality systems, identify areas of improvement, and support corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, quality control tests / technical test, and any corrective actions taken. Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards

3. ADDRESS PRODUCT QUALITY ISSUES

  • Conduct investigations into quality complaints or failures.
  • Work with the QA team and other relevant departments to resolve quality issues quickly
  • Implement preventive measures to avoid future quality problems.

4. SUPPORT IN RESOLVING CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS

  • Gather and analyze data related to customer complaints.
  • Collaborate with the customer service, logistics, and QA teams to investigate complaints.
  • In relation to customer complaints, conduct sorting activity, if needed in collaboration with inbound/outbound checker, and external warehouse in charge.
