Senior Veterinarian

We are looking for an empathetic licensed veterinarian, with at least two(2) years' experience, who is well-versed in common, and sometimes, uncommon, diseases of cats/felines. You will collaborate with team members to uphold ethical practices and medical standards, and to share veterinary knowledge. Senior veterinarians will perform consultations, vaccinations, and surgeries (both major and minor). Other duties include overseeing confinement protocols and treatments, operation of diagnostic tools and machines, and the interpretation of diagnostic results such as blood tests, ultrasound, and X-ray.

Feline Senior Veterinary Doctor responsibilities include:

• Assessing and examining patients and diagnosing their medical issues.
• Conducting laboratory tests on specimens to diagnose medical conditions.
• Performing diagnostic imaging and ultrasound tests.
• Performing surgery, dressing and treating wounds, and prescribing medication.
• Promoting preventative care by advocating and administering routine vaccinations, and by educating clients on positive diet and lifestyle choices for pets.
• Improving patients' dental health by performing checkups, and cleaning and extracting teeth.
• Euthanizing patients.
• Ensuring compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
• Maintaining patients' medical records.
• Holding and monitoring felines during and after operations.
• Provide nursing care for the patients.
• Preparing the patients and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Enhances clinic reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Perform other tasks that have direct business impact assigned by the immediate supervisor or the management which may be within or beyond the scope of the job.
• Assistance to coworkers for any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the management/heads from time to time, within the category of employment in the organization and for the effective implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
