Analyst

Position Required:

Analyst yrs of experience analysing financial performance of businesses).

Full time contract role.

Base Pay:

1~3-month probation (28,000 PHP per month), then further 12-months contract (36,000 PHP per month) if you pass probation. Thereafter contract renewal or promotion will be subject to performance.

Bonus Pay:

After the probation period, you're entitled to performance bonus of 9,000 PHP per month if you meet certain KPIs each month.

Total Pay:

Base + bonus = up to 45,000 PHP per month.

Requirement:

Full time hours in Australian (Melbourne / Sydney) time zone.

Approximately 8 hrs a day, 5 days a week.

You will be required to work in the following Australia Melbourne / Sydney time:

Sunday (9am - 5pm)

Monday (12pm - 8pm)

Tuesday (12pm - 8pm)

Wednesday (12pm - 8pm)

Thursday (12pm - 8pm)

Non Negotiable Requirements:

• Your own subscription to Microsoft 365 suite (word, excel, powerpoint)
• A very fast laptop and very fast internet (for smooth video conference and AI usage)
• Advanced skills in excel. You will be tested during the video interview.
• 1~3 yrs experience performing financial analysis on businesses in previous jobs.
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or Economics.
• Example of past job experience that we look for: Accounting, Audit, Credit Analyst, Business Analyst, Mergers & Acquisition Analyst, Financial Modeller or jobs that demonstrate high proficiency in maths, calculations, excel calculation and analysis.
• Extreme attention to details, spelling errors, pricing errors. Skilled in performing "sense checks" to quickly determine whether something is right or wrong.

Academic qualifications required:

Minimum university degree preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or Economics.

Expert level English language skills (read and write).

Job Description:

• Optimise menu of restaurants on Uber Eats merchant portal to increase average order spend and menu conversion rates for restaurant owners.

• Check for pricing error, spelling error and technical errors on the menu that you or your colleague has optimised.

• Use PhotoRoom AI and ChatGPT to create and edit photos for menus on Uber Eats merchant portal.

• Analyse and explain how advertising costs and promotions costs affect the sales of each store.

• Use Microsoft Excel financial model to calculate and analyse each restaurant's gross profit margins.

• Optimise merchants' advertisement campaigns during trading hours to maximise ROAS and order volume.

• Improve performance of merchants' advertisement campaigns through iterative testing of promotions and menu optimisations.

• Describe in as much detail as you can how restaurant owners (merchants) in Australia make use of Uber Eats. Include in your description, the various types of cost that a typical merchant in Australia would incur when using Uber Eats.
• Uber Eats is a platform. If you're a merchant using Uber Eats, there's not much you can customise on the Uber Eats store, other than food item name, food item description, food item price, food item options (e.g. +$xxx for upsize, +$xxx for extra sauce etc) and lastly category name. Other features that Uber Eats merchants can use are Offers or Promotions (e.g. % discounts, or buy 1 get 1 free, buy 1 get another item free) and lastly Advertisement Campaigns to increase visibility (i.e. advertisements will give the store the chance to appear more often in the screen of Uber Eats users i.e. "Impressions" and "Clicks").

With the above information, specify clearly, what strategy (which feature / element) you would use (and how you would use those features / element) to increase order volume for merchants while maintaining an acceptable profit.
