We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to integrate security best practices into every phase of the software development and delivery process.

As part of the banks digital engineering team, the DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable, and automated systems that enhance both development and production environments. This role works at the intersection of development, security, and operations, ensuring that security controls are seamlessly embedded within CI/CD pipelines and that systems remain resilient against emerging threats.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on security advocate with strong technical knowledge of DevOps automation, infrastructure-as-code, and modern security toolsdriving a proactive and collaborative approach to security across teams.

• Collaborate with software engineers to identify key areas for integrating security within the development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and implement secure software development practices and standards.
• Automate security controls, data protection, and vulnerability management systems across deployment pipelines.
• Ensure consistent security posture across development, staging, and production environments.
• Continuously monitor applications and infrastructure for potential vulnerabilities and security events.
• Coordinate remediation efforts and participate in incident response and forensic analysis when security issues arise.
• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and compliance checks to maintain a strong defense posture.
• Partner with development and operations teams to embed DevSecOps principles into daily workflows.
• Provide training and awareness programs to improve understanding of secure coding and threat mitigation practices.
• Document and communicate security procedures, policies, and their alignment with business processes.
• Stay updated on emerging security technologies, tools, and practices.
• Evaluate and integrate new security tools to strengthen the organizations security architecture.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevSecOps processes and frameworks.

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in DevSecOps, security engineering, or related technical roles.
• Proficiency in DevSecOps toolkits such as Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, Black Duck, Terraform, and Git/Version Control Software.
• Familiarity with information security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP).
• Experience with security services like Prisma Cloud, SIEM, SOC, Nessus, and CrowdStrike.
• Knowledge of DevOps automation tools like Terraform, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt quickly to evolving technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes / Docker, and Cloud Services (optional).
• Proficiency in SQL, Bash, Perl, PowerShell, Ruby, or Python (optional).
