About the role

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer - Manager to join our dynamic team at AP Cargo in Pasay City, Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative software solutions that drive the success of our operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the design, development, and testing of custom software applications to address business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
  • Monitor application performance, identify and resolve issues, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, methodologies, and industry trends to drive innovation.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of IT strategies that support the overall business objectives.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of managing and leading application development teams.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as .NET C#, Java, Javascript, SQL; as well as experience with relational databases and web technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in agile software development methodologies and project management
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, security, and cloud computing concepts
