Job Summary

The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process to attract, source, screen, and hire qualified candidates for various positions within the organization. This role ensures the company attracts and retains top talent by implementing effective sourcing strategies, building strong talent pipelines, and maintaining excellent candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition & Sourcing

  • Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates (e.g., job portals, social media, employee referrals, headhunting, campus hiring).
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Manage job postings on internal and external platforms to maximize visibility and reach.

2. Recruitment Process Management

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and desired candidate profiles.
  • Conduct resume screening, initial phone/online interviews, and shortlisting of applicants.
  • Facilitate scheduling and coordination of interviews with hiring managers and panel members.
  • Manage pre-employment requirements, background checks, and job offers.

3. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with department heads and hiring managers to forecast staffing needs.
  • Advise hiring managers on market trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment best practices.
  • Maintain strong relationships with recruitment agencies, schools, and professional networks.

4. Candidate Experience

  • Ensure a positive experience for all applicants by providing timely updates and feedback.
  • Represent the company brand professionally to enhance its employer value proposition (EVP).

5. Reporting & Compliance

  • Track, analyze, and present recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and data privacy regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 2–4 years of proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition (in-house or agency).
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, interview methods, and hiring practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
