Provide day‑to‑day support in the upkeep, safety, and efficient operation of the commercial establishment's facilities and common areas. Assist in inspections, vendor coordination, work order tracking, basic maintenance tasks, and documentation to ensure a clean, compliant, and customer‑friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Facilities Operations & Maintenance

  • Conduct routine inspections of building interiors/exteriors, utilities rooms, restrooms, and common areas to identify defects, hazards, and housekeeping issues.
  • Perform minor preventive maintenance and repairs (e.g., lighting replacement, simple plumbing fixes, door hardware adjustments) per approved guidelines.
  • Log and escalate technical issues (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) to the Facilities Officer/Technician or third‑party vendors.
  • Monitor equipment condition (e.g., pumps, generators, panels) and record readings as assigned.

2) Work Order & Vendor Coordination

  • Create, update, and close work orders in the facilities management system or tracker.
  • Coordinate with service providers (cleaning, security, landscaping, pest control, waste hauling) for scheduled and on‑call work; monitor completion and quality.
  • Assist in receiving and escorting contractors; ensure adherence to site rules, safety requirements, and work permits.
  • Support procurement by collecting quotations, drafting PRs/POs, and tracking deliveries.

3) Safety, Security & Compliance

  • Assist in implementing safety protocols, incident reporting, and corrective actions.
  • Help maintain compliance files (permits, inspections, equipment logs)

4) Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain up‑to‑date trackers for inspections, work orders, utilities readings, and vendor performance.
  • Prepare concise daily/weekly reports and photo documentation for management review.
  • Support budget tracking (consumables, minor repairs) and inventory of tools, materials, and spare parts.
  • Assist with tenant/occupant communications for maintenance schedules, access, and advisories.

Qualifications

Education

  • Degree Holder, preferably Electrical, or Mechanical Engineer

Experience

  • 1–3 years in facilities, property management, building operations, or related field (commercial, retail, office, hospitality).
