Mall Engineer

Justifications

• To ensure the efficient and safe operation on VTP facilities, it is essential to hire a dedicated Mall Engineer to oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and civil system. The absence of an in-house engineer increases our dependence on third-party contractors, leading to delayed responses, higher costs, and inconsistent maintenance quality.

• VTP Engineer will be responsible for:

• Conducting regular inspection and preventive maintenance of critical systems (elevators, escalators, Air-conditioning, generators, etc.)

• Responding promptly to technical issues to minimize downtime and disruptions to tenants and customers.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and building codes, reducing legal and operational risks.
• Supporting ongoing fit-outs, renovations, and expansions projects with proper technical guidance.
• Managing energy efficiency initiatives to reduce operational costs.
• Responsible for supervising, checking and monitoring of electrical and mechanical equipment of the mall to ensure that all facilities are in excellent working conditions.

Job Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, preferably with license.
• at least one (1) year of working experience in electrical and mechanical, maintenance and/or construction work preferred.
• With good analytical ability and technical knowledge.
• With Pollution Control Officer training Certificate is definitely an advantage.
• Preferably with knowledge in Property Management, skills in repair and maintenance including, but not limited to, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair of property equipment and facilities.

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
