Research Specialist

Hybrid Set-up | Full-Time | Makati

The Specialist supports White & Case's Global Research & Market Intelligence team by leading complex research projects, collaborating with global stakeholders, and guiding junior team members. The role delivers high-quality insights that drive the Firm's strategic and business development goals.

What you will do:

  • Lead and conduct comprehensive research and analysis on clients, markets, industries, and competitors, ensuring accuracy and insight.
  • Synthesize complex data into clear findings, applying strong critical thinking and maintaining rigorous quality control.
  • Manage project workflows, coordinate with team members, and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
  • Present research effectively using PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Power BI, and act as a key contact for stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on research tools and databases, support training initiatives, contribute to AI-related projects, and assist with strategic assignments.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong data analytics skills with the ability to interpret and evaluate complex information.
  • Capable of generating insights and developing clear data-driven narratives.

    Skilled in analyzing trends across industries, sectors, countries, and markets.
  • Experienced in client research, competitive benchmarking, and market/industry analysis.
  • Proficient in producing high-quality reports using PowerPoint, Excel, and other MS Office tools.
  • Quick to learn new systems, databases, and workflow tools
  • Willing to work Midshift and follow a hybrid setup (3 days onsite - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Nice to have Qualifications:

  • Experience using research databases such as Bloomberg, Mergermarket, S&P Capital IQ, PitchBook, Preqin, or Refinitiv.
  • Experience leveraging Generative AI tools for research, data analysis, or synthesizing information into insights.
