Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping operations within the hotel. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage housekeeping staff effectively. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and overall guest satisfaction of hotel rooms and public areas.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring all cleaning tasks are performed to the highest standards.
  • Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.
  • Train and mentor new housekeeping staff, providing guidance on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and guest service.
  • Schedule and assign daily tasks for housekeeping staff based on hotel occupancy and priorities.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any needs to the management team.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards in all areas of housekeeping.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of housekeeping staff and provide constructive feedback.
  • Monitor and manage housekeeping staff attendance and ensure efficient team coordination.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth hotel operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a hotel or similar setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and standards.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and housekeeping equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
