Job Summary

An Expense Clerk/Purchasing is responsible for managing and recording financial transactions related to company expenditures.

Job Description

  • Process and verify expense claims, invoices, and reimbursement requests
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to expenses
  • Monitor departmental budgets and flag discrepancies or overspending
  • Prepare periodic expense reports for management review
  • Reconcile expense accounts and resolve any inconsistencies
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment issues
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations

Qualifications
