Job Title: Purchasing Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Purchasing Manager to oversee and manage procurement activities for a growing organization engaged in specialized operations and project-based work. The role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with operational and project requirements.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure optimal pricing, terms, and service levels.
  • Manage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements in compliance with internal policies.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services to support ongoing operations and projects.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations, engineering, and finance teams to avoid shortages or excess stock.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong, professional vendor relationships.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, company policies, and ethical procurement practices.
  • Prepare purchasing reports, forecasts, and budgets for management review.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor management skills.
  • Experience in procurement of technical, industrial, or project-based materials is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Work Setup

  • Full-time position
  • Office-based with coordination across operations and project sites, as required
