Job Description

Sta. Rita Maritime Services Inc. is looking for motivated and disciplined individuals who aspire to build a long-term maritime career. This position offers a unique training-to-deployment program — starting as a Utility Staff assigned in our office for several months to gain operational experience, and later promoted to Able-Bodied Seaman (AB) for vessel assignment with full sea service.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist with office-based maritime operations, filing, and crew-related documentation.
  • Support technical and provisioning departments with reports and coordination tasks.
  • Participate in on-the-job maritime training and vessel familiarization.
  • Upon completion of training, perform AB duties onboard such as deck maintenance, mooring operations, and safety watchkeeping.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, HR, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in manning, crewing, or ship management operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of MARINA, POEA, and other maritime regulatory procedures.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and crew management systems.
  • Must be willing to travel for vessel inspections when required.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Marine Transportation or related maritime course
  • Preferably with Basic Training Certificates (BT, COP, SRB)
  • Willing to undergo 3–6 months of office-based training before vessel deployment
  • Disciplined, hardworking, and eager to learn
  • Must be willing to be deployed anywhere in the Philippines
