Duties & Responsibilities

  • Reviews physicians' orders and patient records to identify required examinations.
  • Evaluates patient condition and explains the procedure clearly.
  • Schedules exams efficiently to prevent patient congestion.
  • Conducts routine radiographic and CT-Scan exams using proper quality control techniques.
  • Checks equipment and supplies necessary for procedures.
  • Prepares X-Ray/CT room, performs routine maintenance checks, and reports issues to the Chief Radiologic Technologist.
  • Ensures a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to regulations and protocols.
  • Monitors patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
  • Assists in maintaining department cleanliness and organization.
  • Prepares monthly reports including census, income, and supply inventory for X-Ray and CT sections.
  • Notifies Radiologist for result interpretation and report typing.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned.
  • Assists with ultrasound procedures when needed.
  • Responds to inquiries related to department procedures and policies.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist in the Philippines (PRC)
  • Minimum of one (1) year related experience in similar setting
  • Strong attention to detail and patient-centered approach
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
