HR Generalist – Job Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the company.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.

2. Employee Relations

  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee concerns and HR-related inquiries.
  • Promote positive workplace culture and handle conflict resolution or disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Assist in implementing company policies and ensure compliance with labor laws.

3. Timekeeping & Attendance

  • Monitor employee attendance, leaves, and overtime.
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping records and coordinate with payroll for salary processing.

4. Compensation & Benefits

  • Assist in processing payroll and maintaining accurate employee compensation data.
  • Administer government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.) and company benefits.
  • Handle loan applications, deductions, and other payroll-related concerns.

5. Performance Management

  • Assist in implementing performance evaluation systems.
  • Support department heads in tracking and evaluating employee performance.
  • Provide feedback and assist in employee development programs.

6. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all HR policies comply with labor laws and company regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain HR-related documents such as employment contracts, memos, and reports.
  • Manage confidentiality of employee information.

7. Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate internal or external training programs.
  • Maintain records of employee training and certifications.

8. HR Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare HR reports on headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and other metrics.
  • Provide data and recommendations to support management decisions.

9. Engagement & Retention

  • Organize employee engagement activities and recognition programs.
  • Support initiatives to improve morale and reduce turnover.

10. Other Duties

  • Assist in implementing HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other HR-related tasks as assigned by management.
