OVERVIEW:

Drives financial strategy, forecasting and analysis to support key business decisions. The position requires strong analytical mindset and ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders and cross-functional teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Strategic Financial Planning:

a) Leads the development and execution of the company's financial planning processes, including Business Reviews

b) Works closely with senior management in aligning financial strategies with overall business objectives.

c) Performs financial modelling and data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning

d) Provides financial support and ensures that transactional processes like accruals and reclassifications are handled appropriately

  1. Budgeting and Forecasting:

a. Oversees the annual budgeting process and provide insightful analysis of variances.

b. Develops and maintains accurate financial forecasts to guide decision-making.

  1. Financial Analysis:

a. Conducts in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

b. Provides actionable insights to support operational and strategic initiatives.

  1. Performance Reporting

a. Prepares and presents comprehensive financial reports to leadership

b. Monitors and communicates financial performance against budget and forecasts.

  1. Cross-functional Collaboration:

a. Collaborates with various departments to gather relevant financial data and ensure alignment of financial goals with operational objectives.

b. Supports business units in understanding financial implications of their activities

  1. Process Improvement:

a. Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

b. Drive initiatives to streamline reporting and enhance data integrity.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis (preferably with B2B experience) and a minimum of 2 years work experience in an Audit Firm.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
