Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Software Developer to join our API & Data team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining multi-tier web applications with various frontend and backend technologies and multiple database technologies. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and testing high-quality software solutions that directly enhance our product and customer experience. Key Responsibilities:Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Design software solutions. Document and present technical change designs. Implement bug fixes, enhancements, and new features.

Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Design and implement automated tests, including unit tests and integration tests. Execute manual tests, including functional and regression tests.

Collaborate effectively with teammates, product team members, and other engineering teams, both in-person and remotely. Qualifications:6 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining multi-tier web applications. Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology.

Strong understanding of requirements elicitation, technical design documentation, and software testing. Proven experience in at least one backend programming language. Strong knowledge of database technologies.

Experience working with APIs, including RESTful APIs and GraphQL.Commitment to establishing and maintaining best practices. Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and GitHub. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Some experience with Perl is desirable but not essential. Knowledge of web frameworks and common architectural patterns.
