Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mandaluyong for an Electricity Trader. The Electricity Trader will be responsible for executing day-to-day trading activities, analyzing market trends, and optimizing trading strategies within the WESM. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical competence, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline is generally necessary.
- A minimum of six (6) months to two (2) years of professional exposure in energy trading, market operations, or trading analytics is expected.
- Direct experience with WESM trading is highly desirable.
- Candidates with limited experience may qualify through relevant training programs.
