About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Select Goods' as a Barista Trainer. As a Barista Trainer, you will be responsible for providing world-class training to our barista team, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This full-time position is based in Taguig City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programmes to upskill our barista team
  2. Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to baristas to refine their technical skills
  3. Assess and evaluate barista performance, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement
  4. Collaborate with the operations team to identify training needs and implement effective solutions
  5. Maintain training records and documentation to track progress and ensure compliance
  6. Champion a culture of continuous learning and development within the barista team

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Barista Trainer or Coffee Specialist, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role
  2. Strong working knowledge of barista techniques, coffee brewing methods, and equipment
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and motivate others
  4. Passion for coffee culture and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
  5. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business
  6. A relevant certificate or diploma in Barista Training or a related field would be an advantage
