About the role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our Finance Controlling team at Styrotech Corporation. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's accounting operations in Meycauayan City, Bulacan.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining the general ledger
  • Assisting with the month-end and year-end close process, including the preparation of financial statements
  • Performing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices and payments
  • Providing support for payroll processing and other administrative accounting tasks
  • Analyzing financial data and generating reports to support decision-making
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial and accounting records are accurate and up-to-date
  • Maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related courses.
  • Preferably with at least one (1) year of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in a small to medium-sized business.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
