About the role

Polystar General Services' is seeking an experienced Accounting Staff to join our dynamic team in our Paranaque City, Metro Manila office. As an Accounting Staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and processing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Reconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Providing support to the accounting team and collaborating with other departments as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting department

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting requirements
  • Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
