Radiologic Encoder

Job Description:

The Radiologic Encoder is responsible for accurately encoding radiologic procedures and findings into the hospital information system. This role ensures correct documentation, proper classification of procedures, and timely submission of records to support billing, reporting, and patient care processes. The encoder works closely with radiologic technologists, physicians, and the billing team to maintain accuracy and confidentiality of all radiology data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Encode radiologic procedures and findings based on established standards and guidelines
• Verify completeness and accuracy of radiology reports before encoding
• Coordinate with radiologic staff for clarification of procedures when needed
• Ensure timely submission of encoded data for billing and medical records
• Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of patient information
• Assist in generating reports related to radiology statistics and service utilization

Qualifications:

• College Graduate of any allied health course (preferred)
• Knowledge of medical terminology, especially diagnostic imaging terms
• Experience in encoding or medical records is an advantage
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php11,962.50 per month
