About UpskillNowPH UpskillNowPH is a dynamic, Philippines-based Open Online Course platform dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality, and self-paced skill-based learning to the Philippine market. We are building a community where industry expertise meets motivated learners. Our mission is to empower Filipinos to upskill and achieve their professional goals while providing a unique platform for local experts to share their knowledge and build their professional brand. We are modeled after global platforms like Coursera and Udemy, but with a specific focus on and commitment to the needs of the Filipino learner.
The Opportunity: A Partnership Program We are looking for seasoned Industry Professionals to join us as Partner Educators. This is not a traditional employment role, but a Partnership Program where you will collaborate with UpskillNowPH to design, create, and launch a micro-course in your specific field of expertise. This partnership offers you a platform to share your knowledge, establish yourself as a thought leader, and earn a revenue share from your course enrollments. You bring the expertise; we provide the platform, audience, and support.
Job Responsibilities As a Partner Educator, your primary responsibilities will center on the creation and delivery of a high-quality micro-course:
● Course Content Design: Develop a compelling and practical curriculum outline for a skill-based micro-course in your field of expertise, focusing on practical skills that are in demand in the Philippine job market.
● Content Creation: Create all necessary course materials, which may include video lectures, lesson presentations, hands-on activities, quizzes, and supplemental resources.
● Commitment to Quality: Ensure the course content is current, accurate, and reflects industry best practices.
● Collaboration: Participate in introductory sessions and check-ins with the UpskillNowPH team to ensure the course meets platform standards and learner needs. Qualifications We are seeking passionate industry experts who are ready to make a significant impact on Filipino learners:
● Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience working in your specific field, demonstrating deep, practical knowledge of your subject matter.
● Subject Matter Expertise: Proven expertise and a strong understanding of the skills and concepts you intend to teach.
● Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and/or Filipino, with an ability to clearly explain complex topics in an engaging manner.
● Teaching Aptitude (a plus but not required): Prior experience in teaching, training, mentoring, or public speaking is a plus, but a passion for sharing knowledge is essential.
● Resource Access: Access to a quiet space and basic recording equipment (microphone, camera, good lighting) for high-quality video production.
