Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors in measurements.
  • Follow established policies and procedures to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the project survey team on site.
  • Assist the project survey team with mobilization, equipment calibration, execution, deliverables, and project close-out.
  • Report any activities that could potentially affect survey operations to the Project Surveyor or Chief Surveyor.
  • Collaborate closely with the Survey Department to ensure construction projects adhere to design specifications.
  • Actively contribute to the preparation, standardization, and maintenance of Survey Guidelines and Procedures.
  • Assist with the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of survey equipment, hardware, and software.
  • Ensure the safety of all employees; active participation in the safety program is required to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hydrography, Marine or Land Surveying, Geodetic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the same or related industry.
  • Experience in dredging and reclamation projects is highly preferred.
