About the role
Kintetsu World Express Phils., Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Environment Health & Safety (QEHS) Supervisor to join our team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in ensuring the company's operations adhere to all relevant environmental, health and safety regulations and standards.
What you'll be doing
- Developing, implementing and monitoring QEHS policies, procedures and programmes to promote a safe and sustainable work environment
- Conducting regular risk assessments, audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Providing training and guidance to employees on QEHS best practices
- Investigating incidents and near-misses, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate QEHS considerations into all business activities
- Staying up-to-date with relevant environmental, health and safety legislation and regulations
- Preparing QEHS reports and presentations for management and external stakeholders
What we're looking for
- Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a QEHS supervisory role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
- Strong knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, and foster a positive safety culture
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in using QEHS management software and data analysis tools
