About the role

Kintetsu World Express Phils., Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Environment Health & Safety (QEHS) Supervisor to join our team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in ensuring the company's operations adhere to all relevant environmental, health and safety regulations and standards.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing, implementing and monitoring QEHS policies, procedures and programmes to promote a safe and sustainable work environment
  2. Conducting regular risk assessments, audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  3. Providing training and guidance to employees on QEHS best practices
  4. Investigating incidents and near-misses, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate QEHS considerations into all business activities
  6. Staying up-to-date with relevant environmental, health and safety legislation and regulations
  7. Preparing QEHS reports and presentations for management and external stakeholders

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a QEHS supervisory role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
  3. Strong knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations and best practices
  4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
  5. Ability to lead and motivate a team, and foster a positive safety culture
  6. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  7. Proficient in using QEHS management software and data analysis tools
