We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed civil or environmental engineer to serve as Hydrological Engineer for the MTerra Solar Project in Gapan, Nueva Ecija. The Hydrological Engineer will be responsible for conducting hydrological and hydraulic assessments to support the planning, design, and implementation of drainage, flood control, and water management systems for the MTerra Solar Project. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigates flood and water-related risks affecting project facilities and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic studies, including rainfall-runoff analysis, flood modeling, and watershed assessment.
  • Develop, review, and recommend drainage, flood control, and erosion mitigation designs for project sites.
  • Assess flood risks and propose engineering solutions to protect project assets and nearby communities.
  • Prepare hydrology reports and technical documents for regulatory submissions, environmental compliance, and permitting requirements.
  • Coordinate with civil engineers, environmental teams, contractors, and government agencies on water-related matters.
  • Review third-party hydrological studies and provide technical evaluations and recommendations.
  • Monitor construction and site conditions to ensure proper implementation of approved drainage and water management systems.
  • Support environmental impact assessments (EIA), feasibility studies, and due diligence activities related to water resources.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • PRC Professional Engineer license is preferred.
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in hydrology, flood analysis, drainage design, or water resources engineering.
  • Proficient in hydrological and hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, or similar software).
  • Knowledge of Philippine hydrological conditions, flood risk management, and applicable environmental and engineering regulations.
  • Experience in preparing technical reports for regulatory and environmental approvals.
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Willing to be assigned in Gapan, Nueva Ecija
  • Willing to work Monday-Saturday
