Company Nurse

JOB PURPOSE

The Company Nurse is responsible for providing general first aid when needed, and provides basic healthcare services to a company's employees. He/She takes part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office by undertaking administrative duties.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Performs first aid treatment and provides medication for employees as needed.
2. Monitors and records the patient's condition.
3. Assists injured employees to the nearest hospital.
4. Prepares monthly medical reimbursement report.
5. Monitors the stock inventory of medicines and other necessary supplies from time to time.
6. Educates employees and/or recommends preventive measures against occupational hazards, promotes healthy living and working conditions.
7. Takes part in the implementation of health and safety policies, and ensures that the company is up to date with public health and employment safety legislations.
8. Purchase, receive and store the office supplies ensuring that basic supplies are always available
9. Provide administrative support to management and other staff

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTITUDES

• Knowledgeable in providing first aid and basic medical assistance.
• Excellent in record keeping and updating.
• Proficient with Microsoft office.
• Can work under minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have at least 2 years' experience working as a health care practitioner or company nurse.
• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing, must be a registered nurse.
