Senior Tireman the over-all in-charge and responsible for maintenance, replacement and repair in various types of tires for light and heavy equipment units.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Facilitate the over-all repair and maintenance of different kind of tires.

  2. Assemble and replacement of the worn-out and relog tires.

  3. Remove and change defective rims, lock rings and leaking air valves.

  4. Regularly checking of loose wheel stud bolts and nuts.

  5. To check the exact and correct air inflation pressure reading in pounds per square inch (PSI) gauge unit.

  6. Manage and inspect the clean rims, bead seat bands or flaps, flange and O-ring grooves prior to tire installations.

  7. Perform proper matching and rotation of tires due to uneven thread wear.

  8. Check and analyze front tire wear for misalignment.

  9. Measure thread heights periodically in order to determine its wear rate analysis.

  10. Create a file and record book for tire performance report and costing.

  11. Monitor tires abnormal wear, perform corrective measures to avoid and prevent tire for a heavy damage.

  12. Familiar and recommend request in different kind types of tires.

  13. Direct coordination with the equipment supervisor regarding tire management system update.

  14. Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. At least high school or vocational graduate.

  2. At least one (5) year of related experience.

  3. Knowledgeable in Tire care and management system
