Job Title: Test Engineer – Functional Test Planning Job Type: Onsite

Location: Cebu City, 6000, PH

Position Type: 6 months contract

No. of hours per week: 45

Shift Schedule : Morning regular shift

Job Summary:

As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing functional test plans, and ensuring that applications are tested thoroughly to meet quality standards. You will also engage in discussions to provide insights and solutions to challenges that arise during the development process, contributing to the overall success of the project.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure application functionality and performance.

- Identify and troubleshoot issues during the testing phase, providing timely resolutions.

- Document testing processes and results to maintain clear communication with stakeholders.

- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance application development processes.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Functional Test Planning.

- Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.

- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.

- Ability to analyze and interpret complex requirements and specifications.

- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in Functional Test Planning.

- This position is based at our Cebu office.
