Job Description

As a PHP Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain PHP- and applications that power critical healthcare services. You'll enhance system performance, modernize legacy platforms, implement secure integrations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support reliable, patient-centered digital operations across the UK.

The Qualifications We Seek

Technical Qualifications

• 6-10 years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in Vanilla PHP and (required)
• Solid skills in core PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript; React is a plus
• Proficiency in SQL and database design (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Proven senior-level technical leadership in end-to-end development projects
• Experience working in agile, collaborative environments and adapting to evolving technical needs

Your Daily Tasks

• Design, code, and maintain PHP applications for healthcare systems
• Maintain and enhance existing systems to meet NHS standards
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices
• Collaborate with developers to implement new features and system enhancements
• Optimize and refactor legacy code for performance and security
• Design and implement integration solutions for legacy and modern systems
• Document legacy systems and new developments thoroughly
• Provide technical support for live deployments as needed

Salary: Up to PHP 140,000
