Warehouse In Charge

Job Summary:

The Warehouse In-Charge is responsible for the overall management of the warehouse and logistics operations. This includes inventory control, supervising warehouse staff and delivery personnel, coordinating with fleet operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The Warehouse In-charge will ensure that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently, while leading a high-performing team and maintaining smooth logistics execution.

Qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in warehouse and logistics supervision, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing company.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to supervise and manage both warehouse and logistics teams effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations, good stock management, inventory control, and safety protocols. Understanding of First In, First Out (FIFO) method, handling near-expiry/SOTEX items, and logistics coordination.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and accountable. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Ethical and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime during peak periods.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy items when required. Willing to travel between company locations if necessary.
