Job profileTechnical Consultant - Fluent in English + Japanese or MandarinRole and Responsibility:Leverages expertise in the deployment and configuration of SAS technologies, solutions and methodologies to provide timely, professional and quality delivery outputs.

Understands, utilizes and communicates best practice methodologies and industry standards internally and externally. Leverages detailed technical knowledge to support sales opportunities and implementations across solution domains including Proof of Concept and solution demonstrations. Attains a conceptual understanding of the architecture of a customer system and takes on administration tasks as needed.

Contributes to detailed technical documentation, such as requirements, design, test plan/cases/strategy/automation, deployment, administration and user guides as required. Maintains thorough knowledge of SAS technologies, products and solutions by participating in ongoing training and enablement. Works and collaborates with others on consulting and special projects as required.

May conduct requirements gathering, workshop, data discovery, analysis, reporting and presentation sessions for customers. May be required to lead internal and/or customer knowledge transfer sessions. We are looking for Technical Consultants with skills in one of the following:Data IntegrationSolutioningDecisioningThe ideal candidate for this position should possess analytical and problem-solving skills in one or more of the following areas: Data Integration, Solutioning, Decisioning.

You will provide consulting and implementation services including requirements gathering, analysis, solution development, knowledge transfer and project closeout both off and on customer site and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications:Ability to speak fluently in English + Japanese or Mandarin. Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Computer Science or related field.

Data Integration:Knowledgeable in designing and developing the ETL/ELT pipelines/processes. Must have experience in design, development, and implementation of DW/BI solutions (DI Studio, DataStage, Wherescape RED, Informatica). Integration with relational databases, flat files, cloud sources, and legacy systems.

Data Modelling Knowledge, preferably dimensional modelling, including Data lake concepts. SQL Knowledge. Create rich interactive dashboards/reports with filters, drill-downs, and parameters using reporting tools like SAS VA, Power BI, Tableau etc.

Data Quality: Profiling, cleansing, standardization, parsing, matching, and enrichment. Data Governance: Business glossary, lineage, and data stewardship workflow. Master Data Management (MDM): Create single views across systems.

Integration with third-party data sources and cloud platforms. Solutioning:Knowledge and experience with SAS Solutions (SAS Risk solution or SAS Fraud solution) including solution configuration, solution functionality and troubleshooting. Ability to map customer requirements and solution design to SAS solutions using different tools, techniques and interface.

Solution Implementation experience. Decisioning:Experience modeling in SAS or other analytical tools such as Python, R.Knowledge of SAS Intelligent Decisioning tool. Automates operational decisions using business rules, AI, and machine learning.

Real-time and batch decision processing. Integration with REST APIs and event streams (e.g., Kafka, SAS ESP). Supports what-if analysis for evaluating decision impact.

Real-time monitoring and anomaly detection. Knowledge of advanced statistical analysis concepts, and ability to apply them to data sets. Knowledge on SAS Event Stream Processing (ESP): Real-time event ingestion and transformation.
