Job Description

Role Purpose

Within the Automation team, our goal is to automate, orchestrate, and unlock new automation capabilities across the organization, driving operational efficiency, technological innovation, and the intelligent integration of processes and platforms.

This role is part of the IAD (Intelligence, Automation & Data) department, within the Infrastructure tower, aiming to administer and optimize the Splunk platform for infrastructure and application monitoring, ensuring observability, automation, and operational support for the Automation team and internal users.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of the Splunk and Splunk Enterprise Security infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports for proactive monitoring of systems and applications.
• Onboard new data sources and develop internal Splunk apps.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting (Python/Bash) and configuration tools (Ansible).
• Collaborate with IT, NetOps, SecOps, and CloudOps teams to integrate Splunk into observability and incident response processes.
• Propose and execute improvements to the platform aligned with monitoring and automation best practices.
• Support and train internal users on Splunk usage and features.

Job Requirements

Details:
Required Skills and Knowledge

• 3+ years of experience administering Splunk and Splunk ES.
• Strong knowledge in monitoring, observability, and IT platform operations.
• Experience in scripting (Python and Bash) for task automation.
• Linux system administration and use of configuration tools like Ansible.
• Ability to design dashboards, alerts, and reports in Splunk.
• Knowledge of integrating Splunk with ServiceNow and other ITSM platforms (desirable).
• Strong communication skills and ability to support users in international environments.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Desirable Observability and Operations Skills

• Definition and tracking of SLO/SLI, metrics, and operational KPIs.
• Experience in troubleshooting and incident response using Splunk.
• Knowledge of automation and CI/CD frameworks (GitOps, pipelines, artifact positories).
• Familiarity with security practices, hardening, and compliance in monitoring platforms.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (NetOps, SecOps, CloudOps).
• Shift flexibility and schedule adherence are required for this position.
