Programmer

Job Summary:

The IT School Programmer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the school's internal systems, databases, and applications to support academic and administrative operations. The role also involves collaborating with different school departments to enhance digital solutions and ensure the smooth operation of IT-related functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and maintain school management systems, websites, and databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues encountered by faculty, staff, and students.
• Work with different departments to identify IT needs and provide customized digital solutions.
• Ensure data security, backup, and recovery procedures for school systems.
• Maintain and update the school's website, student portals, and internal applications.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding IT systems and applications.
• Stay updated with the latest software and technologies to improve school IT systems.
• Document system processes, updates, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
• Assist in network and server maintenance, in collaboration with the IT team.
• Perform other IT-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in programming, software development, or IT support.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, PHP, or SQL.
• Knowledge of web development, database management, and system administration.
• Experience in working with school management systems is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with different departments.
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php23,000.00 per month
