Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Cook or Chef in daily food preparation and cooking.
  • Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients for meals.
  • Cook basic dishes under supervision, following recipes and portion standards.
  • Ensure all food items are properly stored, labeled, and rotated.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food preparation areas.
  • Support in plating and garnishing dishes before serving.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
  • Assist in inventory management and reporting of low-stock items.
  • Help in cleaning utensils, kitchen tools, and equipment after use.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chef or management.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as cook in restaurant or similar environment.
  • Experience in food preparation or kitchen assistance preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic cooking methods and food hygiene.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
  • Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
