We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman specializing in tile/stone and countertop shop drawings to join our team. As a Draftsman, you will be responsible for producing accurate and comprehensive shop drawings based on CAD files provided for various tile, stone, and countertop installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize CAD software to create detailed shop drawings for tile, stone, and countertop installations based on project specifications.
  • Interpret architectural plans and design drawings to accurately represent materials, dimensions, and installation requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and other team members to ensure drawings meet project timelines and requirements.
  • Review CAD files and identify any discrepancies or potential issues that may impact installation or design integrity.
  • Generate material lists and assist in procurement processes by providing accurate quantities and specifications.
  • Maintain organized documentation and records of drawings, revisions, and project communications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and installation techniques to continuously improve drawing accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or similar programs, with experience in creating detailed shop drawings.
  • Strong understanding of architectural drawings, construction techniques, and materials commonly used in tile, stone, and countertop installations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret design and construction specifications.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or interior design industry is preferred.
  • A diploma or degree in drafting, architecture, engineering, or related field is advantageous.

  • Work Schedule: M-F, 8AM- 5PM PHI
