Company Physician

A. General Description

The Retainer Company Physician provides medical consultation, treatment, and preventive healthcare services to employees under a contractual arrangement. This role ensures the promotion of workplace health, timely medical intervention, and compliance with occupational health and safety standards. The physician works closely with the HR and Safety teams to maintain a healthy and productive workforce.

B. Responsibilities

• Conduct medical consultations, physical examinations, and treatments for employees.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Issue medical certificates, fit-to-work clearances, and referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) occupational health requirements.
• Case Management – Oversee treatment and follow-up of employees on extended medical leave or with work-related injuries.
• Coordinate with HR Nurses to refer employees to specialists or company programs as needed.

C. Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree
• Valid PRC license and accreditation from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
• Corporate setting experience is an advantage.
• Has undergone Occupational Safety & Hazard (OSH) Training or BCOM

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Php30, Php50,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 per week
