Job Description

As an Azure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure-based solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient operation of cloud environments, applying best practices to optimize performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy Azure infrastructure solutions, including virtual networks, storage accounts, and virtual machines
  • Implement and manage Azure services such as Azure Active Directory, Azure App Services, and Azure SQL Database
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Automate deployment and configuration processes using tools like Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and PowerShell scripts
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices, including identity and access management
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application deployment and integration
  • Stay updated with the latest Azure features and industry trends to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Azure Engineer (4+ years) or in a similar cloud engineering role
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and architecture
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work independently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect)
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and integration with on-premises infrastructure
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud is a plus
