This role requires strong physical endurance and the ability to follow instructions to complete tasks like dozing, grading, and clearing with precision and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment: Safely and efficiently operate a bulldozer to move materials like soil, rocks, and debris.
  • Site preparation: Clear and level land for construction, roadwork, or other site preparation projects.
  • Grading and dozing: Use the equipment's blade to grade surfaces to a desired level and push materials as required.
  • Equipment maintenance: Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections, perform basic preventive maintenance, and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Safety compliance: Follow all safety rules, site regulations, and government guidelines to prevent accidents.
  • Project coordination: Read and interpret blueprints and site plans to understand project requirements and coordinate tasks with other construction team members.
