Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage daily accounts receivable transactions.
  • Post and reconcile customer payments (cash, checks, credit cards).
  • Track and manage credit memos in line with company policy.
  • Maintain accurate customer account balances and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage collections, monitor payment activity, and prepare aging/collection reports.
  • Process and track
    E-Rate and USAC invoicing
    , ensuring compliance with deadlines.
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile A/R balances to the general ledger.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Purchasing, Project Services, etc.) to ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and ad-hoc accounting projects as needed.
  • Provide backup support to other Staff Accountant roles as part of cross-training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • Prior experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar accounting role.
  • Familiarity with
    NetSuite
    or similar ERP systems a plus.
  • Strong skills in
    Microsoft Office Suite
    (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
