About the role

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Polystar General Services Inc. in Dasmarinas City, Cavite. This full-time position will involve the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. As a key member of our Trades & Services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' cooling systems.

What you'll be doing

  1. Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with cooling systems, identifying and resolving problems
  3. Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative servicing on equipment
  4. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  5. Document work performed and maintain detailed records
  6. Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients to understand their needs

What we're looking for

  1. Formal qualification in refrigeration and air conditioning, such as a trade certificate or diploma
  2. Minimum 2 years' experience as a refrigeration technician, ideally in a commercial or industrial setting
  3. Strong technical skills and expertise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems
  4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  5. Commitment to safety and a track record of working in compliance with relevant regulations
  6. Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
  7. A valid driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
