Laboratory Analyst

LABORATORY ANALYST (Project Based)

Job Description:

Conduct of standardized laboratory tests to facilitate proper examination of animals and to detect and/or determine the nature of diseases or injuries in accordance with approved procedures and regulatory standards to ensure that products produced are fit for human consumption

• Perform standardized laboratory tests (Microbiology, Serology, and Molecular Biology & Virus Isolation) in accordance with approved procedures & regulatory standards; and ensure that all tests are valid & accurate.
• Perform and/or assist during sample collection, reagent and sample preparation.
• Ensure that adequate stocks and kits (ELISA, Mycotoxin & PCR) is available to meet testing requirements
• Ensure proper documentation of data, reports and test results
• Ensure cleanliness of the laboratory and proper disposal of laboratory wastes in accordance to approved standards and policies
• Provide timely advise on repairs and recommend procurement of necessary laboratory equipment
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of laboratory supplies to facilitate proper monitoring
• Ensure proper housekeeping and maintenance of laboratory facilities in accordance with company standards, sustainable best practices and regulatory standards
• Provide recommendations to AHDL unit head for process improvements and assists in the formulation and implementation of policies and procedures to improve control system.

Job Qualifications:

• With Degree in Biology, Microbiology or Veterinary Technology
• With experience related in laboratory
• Good Laboratory Practices

Work Location: Brgy. Lara, City of San Fernando, Pampanga or Manibaug, Porac, Pampanga

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php26,000.00 per month
