Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and record journal entries accurately and timely
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for financial audits
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends or irregularities
  • Support external audits by preparing required documentation
  • Assist in implementing process improvements for greater efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 1–4 years of relevant experience in general ledger accounting or related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
