JHS TVL Teacher

About the role

OLPMC is looking for a passionate and experienced Junior High School (JHS) TLE Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will help students develop practical skills and prepare for future careers through engaging and hands-on learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging, hands-on TLE lessons aligned with the curriculum, with a focus on practical and real-world applications.
• Assess and evaluate student progress regularly, providing timely, constructive feedback and support to guide improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously enhance teaching strategies and improve student learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and other relevant documentation in compliance with school policies.
• Participate actively in school events, co-curricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment that supports the academic and personal growth of all students.

What We're Looking For:

• A graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in TLE (BSEd-TLE) or Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTEd), preferably with a specialization in Technical-Vocational Education or a related field (e.g., Robotics).
• 1–2 years of teaching experience in TLE subjects at the Junior High School level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and fellow educators.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• A genuine passion for holistic education and a commitment to the Montessori philosophy of child-centered learning.
