A. Drafting & Technical Documentation
  • Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, details, and revisions using AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
  • Assist in preparing plans for permit applications, construction, and client presentations.
  • Ensure accuracy, proper layering, and consistency of all drawings.
  • Update as-built plans based on site changes and inspections.
B. Design Support
  • Assist in space planning, conceptual design, and design development tasks.
  • Create visual aids such as diagrams, mood boards, and basic renderings.
  • Help maintain and update the company's design standards and templates.
C. Site Coordination & Inspection
  • Participate in site visits to verify measurements, monitor progress, and understand construction sequencing.
  • Document site conditions through photos, sketches, and reports.
  • Coordinate minor clarifications with site engineers and subcontractors under supervision.
  • Observe QAQC procedures and assist in resolving architectural concerns.
D. Administrative & Project Support
  • Organize project files, drawing logs, and revision histories.
  • Prepare meeting minutes, documentation, and reports as assigned.
  • Communicate with suppliers for materials research and sample requests.
  • Support the Project Manager in delivering tasks needed for project milestones.
E. Professional Growth & Training
  • Participate in design discussions, project meetings, and training sessions.
  • Learn construction methods, detailing standards, and project workflows.
  • Receive feedback and coaching to develop into a fully capable Architectural Assistant or Junior Architect.
